What does a scan read, and what checks it?

A listing splits into eight parts. Each is checked by one or more of three kinds of rule: deterministic checks for exact requirements, AI review for claims in text, and AI vision for images and labels.

A finding

What does a finding contain?

Severity: Critical, high, medium or low.
Rule citation: The regulation or Amazon policy the rule comes from.
Evidence: The exact sentence or image, and where it sits in the listing.
Suggested fix: A compliant rewrite, or the action to take.
Document coverage: Whether the certificate or test report the claim needs is on file.

How does Verid8 know what my product is?

It reads the listing and images and matches the product to one of about 100 sub-types, which decides the rule pack and the documents it expects. When the evidence conflicts, it asks you. It never guesses.
